Fruit Chocolate Covered Skewers

Equipment

  • Fondue maker (or double boiler)
  • 4 Skewers
  • Deli or Waxed paper (Jumbo size)
  • Serving bowls
  • Cutting board
  • Knife

Ingredients

  • 1 cup strawberries large dice
  • 2 each bananas (½ banana per person, cut into 1-inch slices)
  • ½ cup Pineapple (cut in 1 ½ inch long by ½ in wide)
  • ½ cup dark chocolate chips (or milk chocolate chips)
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil

Instructions

  • Using a fondue maker (or double boiler), melt the chocolate
  • Add the coconut oil, and stir well. Set aside.
  • Cut the fruit and put in individual bowls.  
  • Assemble the fruit into the skewers by making a pattern with the 3 different fruits.
  • Place the fruit skewer on top of the deli or waxed paper and cover with the melted chocolate.
