If you like avocado, you will be amazed how easy and delicious this version of Avocado baked fries are. You can have it as an appetizer with a spicy mayo-sriracha dipping sauce or simply added it to a salad as a topping. Give yourself a meatless day. If you are in the mood to prepare a very tasty but hearty dish this can be it! A vegetarian Meatloaf. This recipe is packed with healthy fillers, like Quinoa, zucchini, carrots and flax meal. This meatloaf can be made using a cupcake pan or a regular baking pan. If using a cupcake pan, you can add mashed potato topping and make it look like frosting. Your kids will be more incline to eat them then. We all love a good breakfast casserole but feel too guilty afterwards! Here's a recipe that you may want to consider preparing on a Sunday or a rainy day. Using sprouted Ezekiel (Flax or Sprouted 7 Grain) spinach and avocado would add nutrients into this delicious dish and you'll be a bit less guilty. This simple soup is easy to prepare and can be done with the help of your little ones. Kids will actually be more inclined in eating it if it's served on bread bowl. Broccoli is an excellent source of vitamin K, vitamin C, chromium and folate. It is a very good source of dietary fiber, vitamin B6, vitamin E, manganese, phosphorus, vitamin B1, vitamin A, potassium and copper. I really like potatoes but I have learned that there's little nutrient content in them. However, I discovered that purple potato is loaded with antioxidants and high in potassium. In this recipe the purple potato stands out giving a pop of color to a typically bland-looking dish, making this a healthy side or a simple snack! Curcumin (turmeric) may stop the action of a liver enzyme that activates environmental toxins into carcinogenic forms, and may be especially useful in deactivating the carcinogens in cigarette smoke and chewing tobacco. Turmeric in the diet increases the production of enzymes that digest fats and sugars, and stop cholesterol from forming gallstones. Turmeric prevents the release of histamine in the stomach, quelling nervous stomach and counteracting food allergies and it fights gum inflammation by halting the action of a gene that creates irritant chemicals. Without the irritation, bacteria cannot find a place to grow, and the absence of bacteria reduces both bad breath and gingivitis. This is one of those recipes that can be made in no time. We love the crustiness/nuttiness of this recipe and the fact that it goes so well with Salmon! Take advantage of the health benefits of this recipe; Omega 3's on the Salmon which are  known to lower the bad cholesterol and the vast array of vitamins and minerals in the Pistachios make this another healthy, happy heart recipe! empanadaedited Show your love this Valentine's Day by baking some Delicious Gluten Free Turkey Empanadas! Enjoy with family, friends or share with that special someone in your life. You can also go extra vegan and exchange the turkey for you favorite plant protein!
