Many parents feed their kids burgers , nuggets, tacos & other items from fast foods or vending machines when in reality making a quick snack at home can be as fast and much healthier. The following is a super easy snack, even a child can do it! Add vegetables to make it extra nutritious!
Turkey & Cheese Quesadillas
Super easy snack, even a child can do it! Add vegetables to make it extra nutritious!
Servings 1 each
- 1 each whole wheat tortilla 8 inches in diameter
- 2 oz cheddar cheese shredded
- 1 each turkey or ham slice
- 1 tspn olive oil
Slice or dice your turkey.
Build your quesadilla by adding the cheese and the ham to half of the tortilla and fold it to make a half moon.
In a griddle or saute pan, warm your oil and cook your quesadilla two minutes in each side.
Serve warm by itself or with Mexican salsa.
