Make this delicious baked fries in place of regular potato fries and provide a great source of vitamins to your body.
You can make this recipe as crispy as you want buy just adding a little sprinkle of corn start. I use gluten free rice starch or tapioca starch.
Crispy Baked Sweet Potato Fries
- 2 medium size organic sweet potatoes
- 1 tsp corn starch You can use gluten free corn starch as rice or tapioca.
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt, pepper and spices YOu can add yor own extra kick for sices like, curry, cayane, cumin, paprika, etc
Preheat the oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit. Peel the sweet potatoes and cut them into fry-shaped pieces
Toss the uncooked fries into a mixing bowl. Sprinkle with cornstarch and the olive oil. Season with salt, pepper, and add spices if using any.
Line baking sheet with parchment paper or if using a dark, non-stick baking sheet you don't need the parchment paper. Arrange your fries in a single layer.
Bake for 15 minutes, then flip the fries so they can cook on all sides.
Bake for 10 to 15 more minutes, or until the fries are crispy.
