This week at The Real Food Academy, we're celebrating the Chinese New Year
by focusing on uniquely healthy dishes that originate in the far East.
That's why today, in our Food For Thoughts
section we feature an article that reveals the history and benefits of "Forbidden Rice," a super food that's no longer reserved for Chinese royalty.
This week's adult class on Thursday, we'll have Veggie Dumplings, delicious Shrimp, a mouth watering Canton Style Steamed Fish, infamous Imperial Black Rice and, we'll bake Almond Cookies. On Saturday, kids will make Mexican Vegetable Lasagna, older kids will prepare Mahi Mahi Tacos with Chipotle Dip, next we will make Pear Cole Slaw and for dessert, we'll have Cinnamon Twists.
